カロリーカウンター（KcalCounter、以下「本アプリ」）は、YSS Dev（以下「開発者」）が提供する iOS アプリです。本ポリシーでは、本アプリが取り扱う情報と、その利用目的・保存場所・送信先について説明します。

1. 本アプリが取り扱う情報

1-1. ご自身で入力する情報

  • プロフィール：性別、生年（年齢）、身長、体重、単位
  • 生活スタイルに関する質問への回答、目標（1日のカロリー収支や体重の目標など）
  • 日々の記録：食事（名前・カロリー・メモ）、運動（種類・時間・消費カロリー・メモ）、体重・体脂肪率、日ごとのメモ、食事テンプレート
  • アプリの設定（表示・計算条件・アクセントカラー・通知時刻など）

これらは 1 日に食べられるカロリーの目安を計算し、記録や推移を表示するために使い、端末内に保存されます。

1-2. アプリ内で計算・生成される情報

  • 基礎代謝や日常の活動量をもとにした消費カロリーの推計値、記録から学習する補正値
  • グラフや一覧の表示に使う集計値

これらも端末内に保存されます（iCloud 同期をオンにした場合の扱いは 1-4 を参照）。

1-3. ヘルスケア（HealthKit）から読み取る情報

ご自身が許可した場合に限り、歩数とワークアウトの記録を読み取ります。目的は、日常の活動や運動による消費カロリーを推定することです。

  • ヘルスケア由来の情報は端末内にのみ保存し、iCloud には保存せず、開発者や第三者に送信せず、広告にも一切使用しません。
  • 本アプリがヘルスケアにデータを書き込むことはありません。
  • 許可はいつでも iOS の「設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > ヘルスケア」から変更できます。

1-4. iCloud 同期（任意・Pro）

「iCloud 同期」をオンにすると、1-1・1-2 の情報が Apple の iCloud（CloudKit）を通じて、ご自身の Apple アカウント内で同期されます。

  • データはご自身の iCloud に保存され、開発者はアクセスできません。
  • ヘルスケア由来の情報は同期の対象外です。
  • 同期は設定からいつでもオフにできます。

1-5. 広告に関する情報（無料版）

無料版では、Google AdMob（Google Mobile Ads SDK）によるバナー広告を表示します。

  • Google は広告の配信・効果測定・不正防止のために、広告識別子（IDFA）、IP アドレス、端末情報（機種・OS バージョンなど）、広告の表示・タップに関する情報を取得することがあります。
  • iOS の「トラッキングの許可」で「App にトラッキングしないように要求」を選んだ場合、広告識別子は使用されず、パーソナライズされない広告が表示されます。
  • EU・英国など対象地域では、Google のユーザー向けメッセージ プラットフォーム（UMP）により広告に関する同意をお伺いします。同意内容はアプリの「設定 > このアプリについて」から変更できます（対象地域のみ表示）。
  • 食事・運動・体重・ヘルスケアの情報が広告に使われることはありません。
  • Pro をご利用中は広告を表示せず、上記の同意確認も行いません。

Google による情報の取り扱いについては、Google プライバシーポリシー および Google の広告に関するポリシー をご確認ください。

1-6. アプリ内課金（Pro）

Pro（月額・年額・買い切り）の購入と復元は、Apple の App Store（StoreKit）を通じて行われます。支払い情報は Apple が管理し、開発者がクレジットカード番号などの決済情報を取得することはありません。本アプリは Pro が有効かどうかを判定するために、App Store から提供される購入状況を端末内で確認します。

1-7. 通知（任意）

食事・体重の記録リマインドや週次のお知らせを設定した場合、端末内でローカル通知を登録します。通知の内容は定型文で、記録内容を外部に送信することはありません。通知の許可は iOS の「設定 > 通知」から変更できます。

1-8. ウィジェット

ホーム画面ウィジェットを表示するため、今日の残りカロリーなどの表示用データを、同じ端末上の本アプリとウィジェットの間で共有する領域（App Group）に保存します。このデータが端末外に送信されることはありません。

1-9. アップデートの確認

新しいバージョンがあるかどうかを確認するため、Apple の App Store 検索 API に本アプリの識別子（バンドル ID）を送信し、最新バージョンの情報を取得します。ユーザーの記録や個人を特定する情報は送信しません。

2. 情報の送信先

開発者は、本アプリの利用者の個人データを収集・保存するサーバーを運用していません。アプリの外へ送信される情報は、次のものに限られます。

  • Apple iCloud（ご自身のアカウント）：1-1・1-2 の情報（ヘルスケア由来の情報を除く）。iCloud 同期をオンにした場合のみ。
  • Google AdMob：1-5 に記載した広告関連の情報。無料版で広告を表示する場合のみ。
  • Apple App Store：購入・復元の手続き、およびアップデート確認のためのアプリ識別子。

開発者が、ユーザーの記録・体重・プロフィールなどを第三者に販売・共有・公開することはありません。

3. データの書き出し（CSV・Pro）

「設定 > データ」から、食事・運動・体重の記録を CSV ファイルとして書き出せます。書き出したファイルは iOS の共有シートを通じて、ご自身が選んだ保存先・アプリに渡されます。共有先での取り扱いは、その保存先・アプリの規約に従います。

4. データの削除

  • 「設定 > データ > すべてのデータを削除」で、端末内の食事・運動・体重などの記録、学習した補正値、設定、登録済みの通知を削除できます。
  • 本アプリを端末から削除すると、ヘルスケアから読み取った値を含め、端末内に保存されたデータはすべて削除されます。
  • iCloud 同期をオンにしていた場合、iCloud 上のデータは iOS の「設定 > Apple アカウント > iCloud > ストレージを管理」から削除できます。
  • 本アプリはヘルスケアに書き込みを行わないため、ヘルスケア アプリ内のデータが本アプリによって変更・削除されることはありません。

5. セキュリティ

本アプリのデータは、iOS が提供する保護機能のもとで端末内に保存されます。iCloud 同期・広告・課金に伴う通信は、Apple および Google が提供する仕組みにより暗号化された経路で行われます。端末のパスコード設定や OS のアップデートなど、端末側のセキュリティ対策もあわせてご利用ください。

6. 健康に関する情報についての注意

本アプリが表示する消費カロリーや目安は推計値であり、医学的な診断や助言を目的としたものではありません。

7. お子様の利用

本アプリは 18 歳以上の方を対象としています。18 歳未満の方の情報を意図的に収集することはありません。

8. 本ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは、機能の追加や法令の改正などに応じて変更することがあります。変更した場合は本ページで告知し、重要な変更がある場合はアプリ内でもお知らせします。

Calorie Counter (KcalCounter, "the App") is an iOS app provided by YSS Dev ("we"). This policy explains what information the App handles, why, where it is stored, and where it is sent.

1. Information the App handles

1-1. Information you enter

  • Profile: sex, birth year (age), height, weight, units
  • Answers to lifestyle questions, and goals (daily calorie balance, target weight, etc.)
  • Daily records: meals (name, calories, notes), exercise (type, duration, calories, notes), weight and body fat, daily notes, meal templates
  • App settings (display, calculation options, accent color, notification times, etc.)

This information is used to calculate how many calories you can eat each day and to show your records and trends. It is stored on your device.

1-2. Information calculated by the App

  • Estimated energy expenditure based on basal metabolism and daily activity, and calibration values learned from your records
  • Aggregated values used for charts and lists

These are also stored on your device (see 1-4 if iCloud sync is on).

1-3. Health data (HealthKit)

Only with your permission, the App reads your step count and workouts to estimate the calories you burn through daily activity and exercise.

  • Health data is stored only on your device, is never stored in iCloud, never sent to us or to third parties, and never used for advertising.
  • The App never writes data to Health.
  • You can change the permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

1-4. iCloud sync (optional, Pro)

If you turn on iCloud sync, the information in 1-1 and 1-2 is synced within your own Apple account through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit).

  • The data is stored in your own iCloud; we have no access to it.
  • Health-derived data is excluded from sync.
  • You can turn sync off at any time in Settings.

1-5. Advertising (free version)

The free version shows banner ads served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK).

  • Google may collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, device information (model, OS version, etc.), and ad impression/tap information to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
  • If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not used and non-personalized ads are shown.
  • In the EU, UK, and other applicable regions, consent is requested through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can change your choices from Settings > About in the App (shown only in applicable regions).
  • Your meal, exercise, weight, and health data are never used for advertising.
  • While Pro is active, no ads are shown and no ad consent is requested.

1-6. In-app purchases (Pro)

Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) is purchased and restored through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Payment information is handled by Apple; we never receive your credit card number or other payment details. The App checks the purchase status provided by the App Store on your device to determine whether Pro is active.

1-7. Notifications (optional)

If you set meal/weight reminders or the weekly summary, the App schedules local notifications on your device. Notification text is fixed, and your records are not sent anywhere. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings > Notifications.

1-8. Widget

To display the Home Screen widget, the App stores display data such as today's remaining calories in an area shared between the App and its widget on the same device (App Group). This data never leaves your device.

1-9. Update check

To check whether a new version is available, the App sends its identifier (bundle ID) to Apple's App Store lookup API and receives the latest version information. No records or personally identifiable information are sent.

2. Where information goes

We do not operate any server that collects or stores your personal data. Information leaves the App only in the following cases:

  • Apple iCloud (your own account): information in 1-1 and 1-2 (excluding health-derived data), only when iCloud sync is on.
  • Google AdMob: advertising-related information described in 1-5, only when ads are shown in the free version.
  • Apple App Store: purchase and restore processing, and the App identifier for update checks.

We never sell, share, or publish your records, weight, or profile information to third parties.

3. Exporting data (CSV, Pro)

From Settings > Data, you can export your meal, exercise, and weight records as CSV files. Exported files are passed through the iOS share sheet to the destination or app you choose; their handling there is governed by that destination's terms.

4. Deleting your data

  • Settings > Data > Delete all data removes your meal, exercise, and weight records, learned calibration values, settings, and scheduled notifications from your device.
  • Deleting the App from your device removes all data stored on the device, including values read from Health.
  • If iCloud sync was on, you can delete the iCloud copy from iOS Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.
  • The App never writes to Health, so it never changes or deletes data in the Health app.

5. Security

The App's data is stored on your device under the protections provided by iOS. Communication for iCloud sync, ads, and purchases is carried over encrypted connections provided by Apple and Google. We also recommend using a device passcode and keeping iOS up to date.

6. Health disclaimer

Calorie expenditure and budgets shown in the App are estimates and are not intended as medical diagnosis or advice.

7. Children

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as features are added or laws change. Updates are posted on this page, and significant changes are also announced in the App.
